Phil Elwood



An experienced legislative advocate and communications professional, Phil manages the operations for BLJ's Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the offices of Senator Carl Levin, and Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. He has advocated on behalf of the ONE Campaign, the American Cancer Society, and worked to help secure appropriations in several bills including the Labor, Health and Human Services and the Foreign Operations bills. Phil has worked on public relations campaigns for a number of industries including healthcare,aerospace/defense, cable and telecommunications. He has an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
