Ethan Wagner



Ethan Wagner is managing director of BLJ’s office in Tripoli, overseeing operations in North Africa and the Levant. His projects include work on one of the inaugural parties following Barack Obama’s swearing-in as president, several official and unofficial visits by foreign delegations to the United States, organizing medical missions abroad by the non-profit group Physicians for Peace, and managing The Desert Is Not Silent, an art exhibit held at Grand Central’s Vanderbilt Hall. His previous work has included a stretch as a freelance journalist, and managing media projects with the Department of State. Ethan received a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Virginia and completed his master’s studies at Columbia University and the American University of Beirut.
